"Unearthing History" was a commission done for the Minnesota State Capitol at the request of the Philippine Community and the State Legislature, to correct the erroneous history found on the plaque concerning the Spanish American War already in the Capitol Rotunda. "Unearthing History" tells the actual story of the Philippine-American War, as a text found on stone tablets unearthed on the jungle floor.
