Forest, installation view
"Forest" is an installation that I originally made for the Duluth Art Institute's John Steffl Gallery. As installed there, it was about 16' x 48', and consisted of a maze-like environment of 4x8 plywood panels painted with forest trees and animals in roofing tar. I designed steel brackets so that the panels could be locked together in many different configurations, producing a kind of cubist forest in which visual perspective is constantly changing.
