Part of a series of six cross-stitched chair seat covers made by the client’s mother, who decided to preserve the pieces and give to grandchildren as heirlooms. Each piece has different background colors and floral designs, requiring different color choices for the mats, but the same simple frame style was used for all. The pieces were carefully stretched and mounted to foam core and ample mat space was provided to bring a focus to the image. Overall size: 20x20. Conservation glass and materials only.
