Made out of fabric and a reconstructed music box. The keys in the music box have been altered so that Pink Eyes can play an original song.

"My favorite creature is "Pink Eyes." He's a small, blue worm-like creature with a bright red mouth, bulbous eyes, and yellow boots. He spends his time curled up over his stomach, but by pulling on his neck you can cause him to do sit-ups. It's a hard thing to do, however. It's hard to grab his head, and yank back on his neck. For one thing, it takes a lot of force. I pulled gently and nothing happened. I looked questioningly at Ward. She nodded encouragingly, then reached forward and gave my little Pink Eyes a wrench. He stretched all the way out, back, back, back, and then when she released him he began to slowly curl back up, shuddering in my hand. I was fascinated, grinning like a two-year-old, and when he was done, I set my teeth and did it again. Amazing! It was a trick I wanted to see performed over and over again."
