Statement

This is one of my first stained glass pieces. I needed to learn how to cut straight lines...so cut the border pieces out first. I was not sure what to put in the middle, and while watching a hip hop video on MTV, inspiration hit. I was really disgusted by the use of women as sex objects. I tried to portray the characters as beautiful, but used. One represents blindness, the other deafness, and the muteness.
