Statement

"If other people see my work and they get excited and they start doing something in art, or it sparks something else, than the chain of creativity continues. That's what art is. It's just this long dialog that goes on from the beginning to now, and on beyond. That's communication or interaction in art. Fiberart presents a new kind of material and structural vocabulary that is very tactile and responsive and that has all the potentiality of altering traditional ways of thinking about materials, construction, scale, and intimacy."
