Statement

I embroidered this doll body for my Mother. Genetically, physically, and emotionally, I receive my artistic temperament from my Mother.

This doll body is rife with symbolism...symbols from the many cultures I have encountered in my life - growing up in asia, as a missionary then anthropology student in Guatemala, and now travelling as an adult.
