Jaime Carrera and I premiered Perro in the 33rd annual Choreographers' Evening at the Walker Arts Center on November 26, 2005.
This duet, danced to a Johnny Cash recording, marked our first choreographic collaboration and the second dance choreographed in my kitchen.
"...fun, smart bits like Megan Mayer and Jaime Carrera’s strange little duet about animal coupling (they stamp like horses and sniff each other like cats)..."
