2006 mixed media on canvas, 30" x 42"
$2,700 (framed)
This is the man who has given up his passions, beliefs, and dreams all for money. He has given in to the tyranny of the nine-to-five day of the corporate world. He feels lost, a "floater" in society. This is what daily life has become for most people today in America; segments of society have become corporate drones. Dreams get left behind, as people justify all the money they are making by purchasing excess materials and luxurious lifestyles, thus resulting in an endless cycle of greed and consumption.
