One of a series of chairs designed and built to reflect interior design, art movements, and social thought during a particular decade. Designed and built in 2005 by Daniel Hansen.
This piece shows the fluid curves so popular in that era. Upholstery is muted and we still find the pedestal base here although it was becoming more and more rare at this time. Still, you can feel the optimism in it that was a hallmark of the 50's. A chair that makes you sit upright and is reminiscent of a modern day throne.
