Riverbend Dance Arts
Spring Concert

The Spring Concert is Riverbend’s biggest event of the year. The performance will showcase dances choreographed by Riverbend students, Artistic Director Sarah LaRose-Holland, Ballet Instructor Maria Boscaino, and will conclude with a concert finale.

Riverbend strives to reach out to professional artists and enrich the dance education of their students. Therefore, this performance also features original music by indie record producer James Weber, the choreography of Tamara Nadel from Ragamala Music & Dance Theater (a dance company specializing in Bharatanatyam, the ancient dance form of southern India), and a performance by Kinetic Evolutions dance company.

This activity is made possible, in part, by funds provided by TARGET and by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council through an appropriation by the Minnesota Legislature.

Riverbend Dance Arts is pleased to announce partnerships with both Target and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. These financial supporters are helping Riverbend Dance Arts to provide quality dance instruction and to present a public dance concert at Hastings Middle School Auditorium on Saturday April 29th at 7pm.

Riverbend Dance Arts is a non-competitive and non-profit dance studio located in Hastings at 216 4th Street East in the former Guardian Angels Church. Riverbend is dedicated to the exploration of movement through creativity and dance technique. Riverbend offers classes for children and adults of all abilities, including Intro to Dance, Modern Dance, Ballet, Adaptive Dance, Yoga, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Classes at Riverbend began on Tuesday January 17, 2006.
