This table was designed and executed as a more-or-less formal exercise in translating a traditional furniture form into a more contemporary expression through the intersections of regular geometries.

Dimensions: 30"H x 36"W x 44"L

Materials: Bubinga pommel veneer, walnut, maple, birdseye maple, ebony, brass, red oak.

Finish: Behlen's Tabletop Varnish, black acrylic laquer, nitrocellulose laquer, wipe-on polyurethane, gel stain.

Winner, "Best in Show" and "Peer Award", 2006 Northern Woods Exhibition.
